World No Tobacco Day Awareness Walkathon

IMA Bengaluru Branch, in association with BMCRI, Bengaluru, organized a World No Tobacco Day Awareness Walkathon at the Victoria Hospital campus to create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption.

The walkathon was flagged off by Dr. Madhusudan, Medical Superintendent, Victoria Hospital, in the presence of Dr. Guruprasad, Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Narasimha Murthy N., Treasurer, IMA Bengaluru Branch, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar K. N., Honorary Secretary, IMA Bengaluru Branch.

Nearly 250 nursing and medical students participated in the programme and spread awareness on the importance of avoiding tobacco and tobacco-related products to protect health and save lives.
