National Mission for Prevention of Avoidable Blindness

During the program, awareness was also created about the National Mission for Prevention of Avoidable Blindness, a nationwide initiative focused on preventing blindness caused due to diabetes-related eye diseases. This visionary mission, launched by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, operates under the Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Jan Arogya Yojana (PMAJAY) and is recognised by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
